Kevin has kindly agreed to let me tell you about an event I'm running, so without further ado I would like to introduce GameHack taking place on the 28-29th April at Pinewood Studios and its all about making games!
I've got an Xperia Play and it wouldn't be possible without the flexibility of Android and I know I am not alone in thinking that Android offers some great opportunities for gaming. Combine flexibility with the range of devices it can run on and I think it gives Android an edge over other mobile platforms. From phones, tablets, TVs and even expresso machines
, there is huge scope for making something fun, Personally I'm hoping someone makes an Arduino toaster Android mashup game running ;)
We will be running a free coach from Paddington to Pinewood there will be snacks, drinks, beer, pizza, games consoles to play and a range of ace prizes like Android Smartphones, PS Vita development kits, £500 cash, Arduino gear and a heap of licenses for software!
It costs just £5.95 but ticket price goes to our chosen charities GamesAid and o2ThinkBig. I hope that you consider coming along as I know we can make some awesome stuff that challenges what can be done on mobile :)
Get in touch if you have any questions!
