Ttomorrow's GoogleTV Hackathon

Tomorrow we'll be at the GoogleTV hackathon!
Morning everyone! Tomorrow we will be meeting nice and early at the Google Campus.
Breakfast will be served down stairs, so you will be ushered down the stairs to the right as you enter Campus.
After breakfast we will go upstairs to the speaking area, up there we will have some talks and do some introductions.
The two areas we will be spending time during the hackathon are the basement cafe floor, and the first floor with reception area. Food will be served on the bottom floor for breakfast, lunch & dinner, there are ample tables and work areas down here so we'll expect the majority to hang about down here when hacking. There is also a big dark area where you can chill out.

Do I need to bring equipment?
We have 10 Tvs connected to Google TV devices which means we'll have to work something out around what we have. Teams can be any size but we'll share out devices where it seems fair. Google TV is mostly about the size and location of screen so most development can be done on a tablet. The only way to absolutely positively guarantee you have a device to work on is to bring your own Google TV /  tablet. We recommend that once the teams have all been announced you get friendly with other teams and you can all time share where needs must. Everyone is always looking for mini USB wires so I'd bring one of those.

All night! Really?
Yes. I challenge you to be hardcore. Honestly though you can come and go as you wish but there will be 24/7 security for the building. The Campus is a workspace for lots of startup companies and they would really appreciate you taking care in their home. You might want to bring a sleeping bag, pillow and a jumper.

Presentations & Competition
Hacks have to be finished by 14:00 on Sunday where you will have 4min AND NO MORE to explain your hack.
This is an intentionally small amount of time. Your hacks should be awesome but explainable in this fast amount of time!
The judges will wander around the teams during the event. They will be looking for apps which push the bounds of what we expect on TV.
At the event will be lots of interesting people, competition is a poor second to the knowledge sharing available at the event.
So make sure and wander around and have fun!
See you there!
