Likewise -  There seem to be a lot of these bus apps around and some seem a bit fiddly. They take so many clicks to get the right result that you miss the bus staring into your phone.

Completely agree. If the app isn't quicker to use than just walking to the bus stop or looking up it's failed. My goal was to provide a targeted app to very quickly show you the closest stops, there distance from you and an arrow to where they are, and 1 click to get the departures. Also, I've tried hard so you don't lose context. Search is inline so you don't move away from the map and back. A swipe from the left always shows a list of closest stops. There's still work to do to get it right, but hopefully it's heading in the right direction.

I wish I had the time of coding one myself

No real reason, except I'd rather have a limited feature set that's easy to use, rather than lots of features that are fiddly. I like targeted apps that I know I can very quickly open and solve my task. So far this is targeted more at the commuter who needs the departure board info as quick as posible. But when I have time, and it can be added in a way to not diminish the current features I'm definitely looking to add. Also, if you had time any help would be appreciated ;-)

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi,

I'll try it when I'm back in London (couple of weeks)

Take a look at BusDroid London:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.xabaras.android.busdroid.london

has not as many features as yours but is simple and straightforward if you are at a bus stop w/o display and you want to know what bus is due.
