The house of mirth by Edith Wharton

October discussion will be about The house of mirth by Edith Wharton.

Should be an interesting read and discussion as it seems that social status and wealth is in the center of the plot which might make it relevant for our days... but, I haven't read that yet!

Those who are afraid not to get the book on time can look for it on the Gutenberg site : http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/284

Enjoy you readings...

You all were fabulous! Passionate, articulate, and determined; an excellent combination! Good chemistry. It was nice seeing more guys there... keeping the conversation from getting too girly. I’m only sorry there wasn’t time to talk with everyone, so I hope to see you all again.

I read the book about 10 years ago but haven't had time to re-read it. Hope I'll not be lost. That said, the book made a big impression on me.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
