What's the last book you read?

The Garden of Evening Mists - Tan Twan Eng

What book would make a good read for this book club?

Definitely The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. Just a fantastic read with such a captivating story but also a huge one to make you think about imposing beliefs, customs and traditions. Overall a great piece of historical fiction with plenty to chat about.

I'm a French student so I'm spending six months in Paris as part of my degree. I'd love to meet people who enjoy a good read and can recommend books. I spend a lot of time with French lit so give me something else in English, please!
