What's the last book you read?

A book about the battle of Azincourt.

What book would make a good read for this book club?

"Flaubert's Parrot" by Julian Barnes: witty and clever.

We welcome members who join the group in order to follow our readings even if they can’t join us. But, we don’t like RSVPing YES and not showing. So, after 3 no-shows we send a message and after the 4th they are removed. Can you respect this rule?

I'm a French English teacher with a degree in an American literature. My favourite authors are Thomas Hardy, Shakespeare of course, Norman Mailer, Salinger, Steinbeck, Wharton among others.
