Dear all,

Thanks to everybody who came along to the December monthly meeting, where we discussed Haruki Murakami's Kafka on the Shore.  Anybody interested in Murakami can find an article called 'Behind Murakami's Mirror' in the NY Review of Books: http://www.nybooks.com/articles/archives/2011/dec/08/behind-murakamis-mirror/ .

On Monday 19th December there will be a Literary Pub Quiz, hosted by Jessica, at the Lizard Lounge.  Come along and test your wits against fellow book-lovers.

January's monthly meeting is yet to be scheduled, but the book will be Ernest Hemingway's A Moveable Feast, about his time in Paris.  The current edition of the Mairie de Paris' magazine contains an article about Hemingway's Paris.

Thanks to everybody who voted for February's Book of the Month.  We'll be reading Diane Setterfield's The Thirteenth Tale.

Finally, below is a list of books discussed at December's meeting.
