Join us, and other Phoenix animal lovers, in support of Ironwood Pig Sanctuary this Sunday at Nami (next door to Green) in central Phoenix!
Ironwood Pig Sanctuary is dedicated to caring for abused and abandoned pot bellied pigs. They recently lost an important supporter, a local grocery store, that donated greatly needed items. Because of this loss, they have had to dig into their very limited budget.
The piggies at Ironwood need YOU!
Ironwood could really use some main items that they always need on hand for their pigs. Please show some love by bringing any or all of the following to Nami THIS Sunday, August 5th, from 10am to 1pm:
― creamy peanut butter
― produce: best are apples, carrots, potatoes, lettuce (but any you can spare will help!)
― gently used blankets
― sun screen 30 spf or higher
― Fry's Grocery gift cards.
And feel free to stay and dine/socialize with other other animal lovers, or getting yourself a special treat to-go! Nami is an incredible vegan dessert restaurant/coffee house with a full coffee bar (with many vegan milk options for your coffee creation: soy, almond, coconut, hazelnut, rice). They also offer de-lish pastries every day of the week.
BONUS on Sunday's, a full-blown brunch to enjoy. Click HERE to peruse Nami's brunch menu. You will definitely want to grab some grub when you drop your donations!
**If unable to attend, you can still help by making an online donation HERE! Please note "Nami Donation Drive" in the comment section. Thank you.
This fabulous and super worthwhile meetup event is hosted by Melody Hodges. For any questions, please e-mail Melody at: [masked].
Only a small sample of Nami offerings... See you this Sunday!
