Leaflet the JDRF Walk in Tempe

Join us in leafleting with Vegan Outreach literature at the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes on Saturday, November 3rd at Tempe Beach Park!

Benefit walks are a great opportunity to distribute information, so we will be leafleting as people are leaving the walk.

Please kindly RSVP “yes” only if you are certain you can attend.

Leafleting Time: We estimate that people will begin finishing the walk around 9:30am, so we will be leafleting from 9:30am-11:00am.

Where to find us: Look for us at the main entrance to the park at Mill Ave. and Rio Salado. Once you RSVP, you will be receiving an organizer's cell phone number to easily locate us once you arrive.

Parking: Parking is generally free for morning fundraising events at the US Airways Parking Garage, which is located on Ash Ave. just north of 3rd St. Just be aware that sometimes the entrance to this garage is blocked off or it is made difficult to turn into it. If this garage is full or inaccessible, the next best option is free street parking on Farmer Ave north of 1st St.

Great leafletting event! I found that people from the walk were very receptive and polite.
Some of the folks wanted additional literature for friends not present. I notice more and more people are sounding excited about the Veg information we are handing out to them and seem to have heard a little about it and are seeking more info. : )
As always, it was fun leafletting with the two of you, ladies!

What a super opportunity this was. Thank you, Kirby, for leading this leafleting event! People were very receptive toward the materials, and really friendly. I'm so glad we were there today. :)
