Animal Advocates of Arizona (AAAZ) Message Board › Socialized Kittens for Adoption Rescued from a Feral Cat Colony
Good morning, after moving from Tucson last October to Glendale, I stumbled across a feral cat colony and have since been supporting TNR efforts on my own dime and dollar (like most of us) near 83rd and Thunderbird in Peoria. There is someone who has been feeding at this location for over 5 years; many of the cats have been fixed during that time - but after confirming that work remained to be done, I have started doing TNR at this location. However, this Spring, there were kittens (two litters). We were able to rescue those that were in more peril and now need to find homes for 3-4 of those that remain (I am keeping 1). Of the original 9 there are 5 left, so we've had some success in getting these babes adopted.
I am writing to this group in addition to contacting local no-kill shelters and posting fliers of the babes where I can. I am happy to send you our flier so that you can see the babies for yourself. All will be spayed/neutered and have their distempter shot. Please let me know if you or anyone you know, can help and open their homes and hearts. After learning the hard way, this will be my last kitten rescue - as I plan to focus my future energies on TNR and preventing future litters.
I can send you a flier (if you can post it or send to family/friends) I'd be forever grateful!
Our FB group is below where you can see pics, videos, and more!
