Four Legged Friends Foundation invites you to join us once a month to network and socialize with others in different areas within the animal community making a difference. We believe that if we work together as a team, more animals can be helped!
This meet up is an informal social setting (without an agenda) geared towards networking and meant for anyone who wants to:
* Meet other rescuers, fosters, volunteers, animal lovers, pet friendly businesses
* Learn about the local organizations and businesses making a difference
* Discover different ways you can contribute
* Find out where to volunteer or find volunteers
* Be a resource for others to help
* Share ideas on how we can contribute to the animals
We plan to coordinate this event once a month and alternate it between the Westside and the Valley.
Be Part of the Animal Community Pack making a difference for animals.
Four Legged Friends Foundation is not a rescue organization. Four Legged Friends Foundation (FLuFF) increases awareness of the physical and emotional contributions animals make in our lives and identifies and implements programs currently missing in the animal sector of the non-profit arena. In doing so, FLuFF is able to support animals and people through education about proper pet care, participation at local community events and financial support for those without the means to afford veterinary care. Our main programs include; Another Sunny Day Fund, which is dedicated to saving the lives of pets by providing financial assistance to pet owners who cannot afford critically-needed veterinary care for their cats or dogs. We ensure that a lack of finances does not prevent a pet from getting the life-saving care it needs. Give Me a Paw which is in response to the hundreds of millions of dollars which are lost every year to deceptive pet-care professionals and organizations posing as legitimate charities. The key objectives of this program are surveying community members about their experiences using a 1-4 paw rating system, inspecting facilities, interviewing staff and researching pet-care professionals and pet-related charities. These activities remain ongoing and the ranking information collected will ultimately be compiled and posted on FLuFF’s website as an online resource by 2010. For more information visit www.flff.org.
I found this restaurant online and it looks yummy. I have never been there and they will accommodate us.
