****Please note that this event is promoted in many places and is likely to have hundreds more attendees than the RSVP's here would indicate. There may be similar events posted. Please be assured that the annual Vegan Thanksgiving Day Potluck Picnic will continue at the same Rancho Park location as it has been at for more than 20 years.****

*****PLEASE INVITE your friends.  Non vegans are welcome and encouraged to attend.******

LA'S LONGEST RUNNING SINGLE DAY VEGAN TRADITION

Los Angeles' biggest vegan potluck event of the year, a tradition that is more than two decades old. Hundreds of people attend annually.

Join us for a peaceful, turkey friendly Thanksgiving. Come share some delicious food, connect with beautiful people, and enjoy the outdoor environment. There will be music, live performances and an open mic. Feel free to bring drums, other musical instruments, a frisbee or a ball to toss. It's a great place for children. Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

FREE EVENT

Except for the vegan dish you bring, this is a free event. (remember to bring your own plate/bowl, cup, eating/serving utensils, etc.)

***Please bring a vegan dish to share that will serve at least 8-10 people and that is ready to serve.  Vegan means no eat, fish, eggs, dairy or honey- No animal products at all. ****

Organic, chemical free, GMO free foods are encouraged.  Both cooked and raw vegan food is welcome.  There will be a space designated for raw food.  Please be conscious to place your dish there only if every ingredient in your dish is 100% raw (pasteurized foods, commercially canned and most jarred food are not raw).

Please bring an ingredient list to help those of us with allergies.

****TO PREVENT PAPER & PLASTIC WASTE, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PLATES/BOWLS, CUPS, EATING UTENSILS AND  SERVING UTENSILS.******

We start gathering at 11AM, have a beautiful opening circle at noon, then we begin our feast!

When you enter the park, there is a parking area on the left.

Drive passed this parking area and follow the road to the next parking area which is a few hundred feet down.

Walk to the picnic tables across the grass and behind the baseball field.
"VEG" signs will be posted to point the way.

(There is another picnic area at the far end and close to the parking lot, this is not our picnic area).

There were over 200 people there at the start of the opening circle and many more people came throughout the afternoon. I don't know exactly how many people were there, but some are estimating between 300 - 400 people came to the Rancho Park Vegan Potluck Picnic on Thanksgiving day this year!
