Vegan Food Outreach & Fundraiser: Compassionate Cuisine L.A.

Compassionate Cuisine is coming to L.A.! Join Animal Acres, celebrity host Charlotte Ross, and amazing vegan restaurants and food companies for an evening where you can enjoy the exquisite vegan offerings of Los Angeles.

Celebrate Compassion Over Killing’s "L.A. Veg Week" by gathering with fellow veg friends to wine, dine, and celebrate our compassionate and healthy lifestyle together, all while encouraging all of LA to go veg! Hosted at the beautiful Victorian on Main Street in Santa Monica, this evening promises to be a culinary delight!

Compassionate Cuisine is the perfect event to introduce your friends and family to the many benefits, and delicious tastes, of a vegan diet. Discover new restaurants and companies creating compassion with every bite.

To top it all off, proceeds from this event will benefit Animal Acres 2011 rescue efforts, and the building of the new RESCUE CENTER to help expand their emergency rescue and refuge facilities for suffering farmed animals.

According to the Animal Acres website, the deadline for advanced ticket sales was April 24th. The $50 advance price included food but not beverages (sold separately).

For 50 dollars they didn't give you much! Mostly sweets which was nice for dessert but the only main course food was some raw zucchini with sauce, I felt cheated.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
