High-Impact AR Outreach: Promote Compassion @ Santa Monica 3rd St. Promenade

Dear Animal Advocates,

What if in just 1-2 hours of your time, you could expose hundreds of people to the truth about factory farming and its horrific impact on animals, the environment, and people? It's truly amazing what happens when the classic advocacy techniques of tabling and leafleting get a high-tech boost by projecting hard-hitting videos like "Meet Your Meat" and clips from "Earthlings" on a large screen. This video outreach has converted numerous vegans over the years - and those are just the ones who've come back and told us! We have planted seeds of compassion in thousands of people. If you've never tried this outreach before, we urge you to attend at least once and see if you get hooked.   :-)

Your next opportunity for vegan outreach leafleting/tabling with simultaneous video projection on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica will be Friday, Nov. 18th, from 8-10 pm. You are welcome to attend the full 2 hours, or just come for part of the time.

Please note: This is a Friendly Interactions Only advocacy event. Participants should keep all interactions civil and friendly with everyone (including hecklers) at this event. This is usually an easygoing outreach where participants are free to reach out in friendly ways to whatever extent they are comfortable. We generally get positive responses from the general public, but do occasionally get unpleasant/rude feedback over the graphic videos. We expect the outreach participants to respond politely if this occurs.

We are usually between Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevards on the Santa Monica Third Street Promenade. If you have difficulty finding us (or want to check if the outreach is canceled due to rain, etc.), then call Aouie at [masked].

You don't need to bring your own literature; there should be enough literature, including leaflets, to last the evening.

As always, whether you can make it this time or not, it's helpful if you take a moment to RSVP "yes" or "no" to show your involvement in the group.

Thanks,

Zoe
