Vegan for 5 years
Health was my primary motivation, quickly followed by concerns about how animals are treated and the environmental impact of animal agriculture.
Green Smoothie 2-4 oz kale and/or collard and/or spinach 1 frozen banana 1 ½ c almond milk (unsweetened) 1 TBL flax or chia seeds, whole 1 c frozen berries (any kind) 2 TBL unsweetened cocoa powder 1 or 2 pitted dates Blend until smooth
