I've been a vegetarian for 14 years and a vegan for 4 years.
Since I was a kid it was unbearable the thought of eating an animal. As I became older I became even more conscious to my intuition that it was wrong by understanding the severity of the horrible conditions and reality about how the meat industry works. The environmental, animal, and health reasons are solidify my passion and commitment for being a vegan.
I'm pretty simple mostly raw salads so I'm no recipe guru but I enjoying adding grilled sweet potato to my vegan-sushi and grilled eggplant!
have political meet-ups to have individuals sign petition's to certain animal rights laws. maybe set up a fun event, rather it's free local vegan food with mini lessons, to animal-free clothing in the local area... screenings of animal rights videos and providing local solutions. Maybe a pledging event of what people can do without too, just brainstorming. Or just having some meetings at these locations and hand out information to their customers or do little mini-education sessions for dinners =) just brainstorming.
