Do you consider yourself a vegan or a vegetarian? How long have you been one?

Was a part vegan until a few weeks ago. Now 100% vegan.

What made you decide to become vegan/vegetarian?

You are what you eat. Killing sentient lives just to eat doesn't make sense, when plant foods are so much healthier and today's meats are poisonous. But more than anything, it's the compassion for all living things. Humans are still in the process of evolution to the higher beings, otherwise we'd still think the earth is flat. Veganism is the logical step towards that evolution.

Care to share any favorite vegan recipes?

Any suggestions for future meet-up events?

I think all vegan groups have to unite to be strong. It seems that there are hundreds of little groups, and the impact could be greater.

Are there any great vegan resources/websites that we may have missed on our other page?

The British website, www.vegansociety.com. Especially their Resources section that details how to start a vegan group, and how to get young vegans to get involved.
