What: Eat Indian Vegan Food and Hear Matt Ball of Vegan Outreach Speak March 22

Who should come: Anyone who would like to learn more about methods of effective animal advocacy.

Why: To learn and meet other like-minded animal advocates, and to
discover ways of being a more effective animal advocate.

Meeting Description: Fellow UAALA members:

There is a special and rare opportunity to hear from an experienced animal advocate who co-founded Vegan Outreach. If you can manage to make time in your schedule for this, I promise you won't regret it!

Matt Ball, Co-Founder of Vegan Outreach, is speaking in Los Angeles!

Matt will speak for approximately an hour and then many of us will indulge in a feast of vegan Indian food. India Sweets & Spices is a market and cafeteria--the attached cafe is called Vegetarian Heaven. It is vegetarian and 90% vegan and they do not use ghee (that's clarified butter, for those unfamiliar with Indian cuisine). In addition to running Vegan Outreach, Matt has written several insightful articles.
