Congress is poised to ban animal activists from uncovering cruelty at factory farms. They should be improving conditions for livestock, not masking the animals' suffering.
Please sign the petition today! Stop the Ag-Gag Bill!

Dear sandra,

If it weren't for animal activists, we would have no idea how much farm animals suffer at conventional factory farms. Brave men and women have gone undercover and filmed some of the worst conditions, like animals living in unbearably cramped spaces among their own waste.

Instead of supporting this investigative work, the government is trying to shut it down. Tell Congress to stop the "Ag-Gag" bill!

The Ag-Gag bill would ban cameras in the workplace, making it impossible for activists to get and share irrefutable evidence of inhumane conditions for livestock. That will only make it harder to put an end to this cruelty.

This bill has already been shot down in California and Indiana, which is great news. On the flip side, a woman in Utah has faced charges thanks to ag-gag policies, though the charges were recently dropped. We have to take steps toward making the entire agriculture industry in our country less opaque.

Demand your representatives oppose the Ag-Gag bill and work to stop cruelty at factory farms, not hide it.

Thank you for taking action,

Emily V.
