Re: [animalrights-177] Mama and her kittens - Urgent Plea

Hi Sandra:

There is another foster that can take them which I figure is better because you always have so many.

I was hoping to catch the mama before we grabbed any kittens because I thought it would be easier.  However, they were concerned about the dogs getting to kittens and caught as many as they could.  Apparently, between the neighbors, they were able to find homes for all but three of them.  As soon as they can catch the remaining three kittens, there is a couple who want to foster them.

I am hoping they will let me set a trap for the mama and may need help with that (I have never set one before).  It would be nice to keep this from happening again. The people are getting annoyed with this whole situation though and may not allow us to set a trap there.  I told them we may need traps to catch the last three kittens.  They are trying to catch them now.

I will update you later today.  I just got back to my house and my phone is charging now.  I will be available by phone in about an hour.

Thank you,
Pamela

Pamela,  I will foster the cat and her kittens.  The kittens should be easy to catch, but I don't know if the mom is tame enough to get without a trap.  I will be free to help when I get home at about 12:30 p.m.  Please give me a call.  [masked].

Subject: [animalrights-177] Mama and her kittens - Urgent Plea

Urgently seeking safe place for a mama kitty and her kittens. They were born in a yard with dogs. Now that the kittens are getting to be a few weeks old, they are moving around and her dogs are taking and interest. She is afraid they will kill the kittens. Please contact me at if you are able to foster this little family. We are trying to get a picture.  Please contact me at [masked] or [address removed] if you can help.

If we can't get a place for them, the people will call animal control to come and get the whole little family.   They do not want to wait but I am begging them not to send this family to the pound but I don't know how long they will wait.   We all know if they go in, they will not likely get out.

Please help if you can.  If you have contacts that may help, please forward my message.

Peace,
Pamela
