Please help the dogs inside the City of Cleveland Kennel. They are suffering.

Funds allocated for the new City of Cleveland Kennel are being bound by red tape while dogs suffer within the old structure. They are provided no bedding in their steel and concrete cages. There is improper ventilation, the heat has gone off for periods and is sporadic, no toys or anything to occupy their lonely hours. This is an antiquated, high kill shelter. The event will also be a networking opportunity for rescues and fosters in an attempt to intercept placement in this cold, steel prison for these innocent dogs. All funds will go directly to the Kennel to help ease some of the suffering of these unfortunate and deserving animals. More information is included in this event page. Dog food donations appreciated. If you cannot attend, consider donating to Addie Caputo Broach and her wonderful group who are working, tirelessly, to help these defenseless dogs. Information on donations included in event page. This is a local cause that needs the help of our area's residents. THANK YOU https://www.facebook.com/events/1423329877883878/

I have several blankets I can donate....is this needed/wanted? Any preference for dog food? Brands? Wet? Dry?

Food is always welcome--any type. The kennel said blankets get soiled too easily; sometimes they take them; sometimes they don't use them; I will check. Thank you, Susan!!
