A Message from Ginger: Euclid Beach Feral Cat Project

I AM SPECIAL
Hi! My name is Lucky.
I am a very con dent boy, but it wasn’t always that way. In May 2012, a mean human dumped
me at the Euclid Beach High Rise Apartments, with 14 other cats that are feral. I was never sure
I would survive. I lived under bushes and parked cars, and hardly ever slept.
I was so scared, thinking I would not see the sun rise another day.
But there is a very kind lady that feeds all the cats every dayl I was so frightened that it took me
weeks to trust her. Well, Happy Days!! She petted me and picked me up, took me to Dr. Linda at
“Just Cats Hospital ”, and got me all xed up!
Uh oh---my blood test showed that I have one of those feline dis-eases --I am “FIV positive”.
Everyone cried for a minute, and I did not know what was going on.
One of the cat nurses knew a very special man who might want to adopt me, because he
needed a best friend, too. The clinic said FIV is a “paper tiger”, and that as a strictly indoor cat,
I could live a long, stress free life with lots of love. WHEW!
Thanks to the Euclid Beach Feral Cat Project, I have a second chance to live a beautiful and
happy life, and to make someone else happy, too.
The nice folks at “EBFCP” need your help to continue their compassionate work that saves
lives.
Please make checks payable to Northeast Shores Development Corporation, a 501 (c) 3 non
pro t organization that acts as a scal agent for the Euclid Beach Feral Cat Project.
Please write “EBFCP” in the memo line of your check, and mail to:
317 East 156 Street, Cleveland, OH 44110. All donations are tax deductible.
While all lives--cats’ and humans’--are Special to
EBFCP, not all are as Lucky as me and my Dad.
Only with your help can more happy stories be told.
This is a picture of me and my new DAD.
He is almost as handsome as I am!
WOW, am I happy!
I make Dad happy, too! We snuggle a lot, and I
follow him everywhere--we are never apart.
