There will be a Protest/leafleting this Thursday 16th May, from 6pm to 7:30pm, when Zippos Circus comes to Kingston.

We'll be meeting by the gates to the circus. Leaflets, placards, and banners, will all be provided for you to use there.

Contact number for this demonstration is:

[masked] 383.

Zippos Circus are one of only six circuses in the UK that continue to use animals. The other 24 UK circuses don't use animals. Zippos Circus uses Horses, Ponies, a dog and Budgerigars in their performances.

Animal Defenders International did an undercover investigation of this circus, in 2006.

Here's a link to that investigation, this link shows what they found:

There's also a Youtube video of Zippos Circus, by Animal Rights Cambridge, that you can watch.

Here's the link for that video:

There are already advertising posters up in the area, so if you live in the area please try to remove illegal posters, and please try to persuade shops not to display them either.

The nearest National Rail station is Kingston. This station is in fare zone 6. There are fast and frequent South West Train services, from Waterloo station, to Kingston station.

The exact address for the circus, at this location is:

The Fairfield
Fairfield Road

Here is a map, showing how to get to the circus:

Please try you're best to make it to this important demonstration. These animals need us to protest for them whenever we can, in order for them to eventually be freed from their exploitation, and allowed their freedom.
