VOLUNTEER DAY AT FRIEND FARMED ANIMAL SANCTUARY

Meet at Charing Cross station at 9.15 - by the ticket office. Please bring £5 note and some pound coins for the fare - or drive down.  For a group of 4 or more there is a 50% discount fare.

Bring wellies, a change of trousers/top and a snack or potluck to share. Lifts to and from Paddock Wood Station are available.

These visits are always enjoyable: usually we help with outdoor maintenance and other mini projects around the sanctuary.  Its also  chance to meet like-minded people and interact with many rescued farmed animals (normally including feeding them).......we usually leave around 5pm but people can leave earlier if they want of course.

Thank you dear friends.

Lara....best to check with the sanctuary re taking dogs......there are a number of dogs there and they can be a bit boisterous. I'd say ask Mark or Marion....you can see their contact details on their website www.friendsanimalrescue.org.uk or on their facebook page, Sanctuary Kent.

Hi everyone, really looking forward to meeting you all and helping out with the animals! I am just a bit worried about the weather though, especially with the storms we've been having!

    Hi Teodora,
I am sure it's OK to bring your friend...please do! I had a quick word with my co-organiser, we think that's fine. And by the way CafeNoire will be at Charing Cross in the morning I believe.... so everyone going by train can meet her by the ticket office......as you know I go by car at the moment and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
    cheers,
    David

Hi David! Thank you for your message. Unfortunately I have to cancel. My cat is feeling poorly and I have to take him to the vet tomorrow. I apologize, especially to those who will take the train from Charing Cross, if they can't get the discount. I hope there are enough people there.

Hi Teodora, OK sorry to hear that, and I hope your cat gets better soon. Thanks for letting us know, maybe change your rsvp status but not essential. We will hope to see you another time, maybe on the Jan 25th visit to Friend? Best wishes, David

Hey! Who's going to be at Charing Cross tomorrow morning? I'd like to bring a friend, but it looks like there are quite a few people going already and there might not be enough work for everyone. Is it okay to bring someone?

    Thanks!

    Teo

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
