Deer cull protest - Kingston

Marching from near Bushy Park around Kingston town centre, leafletting the public and gathering support against the Royal Parks deer cull policy.
The cull is due to start on the first Monday of November, two days after this protest.
Meet near the War Memorial by the roundabout on the Hampton Wick side of Kingston Bridge (this will be our starting point).

We now also have a speaker, Jake Knight, who will speak about "Making a Difference".

Please could everyone whether attending or not, sign the petition supporting this campaign for more available alternatives to the cull:

Also looking for a volunteer to organise an after-demo meal at the nearby Riverside Vegetaria as I expect a few ppl might want to do this (but I cannot guarantee that I'll be free for long enough after the demo to do it).

If you click on the actual address the map is correct but where it says edit map that one remains wrong and I can't change it for some reason, so two different maps are appearing

Lesley, I think the map is not correct, it's far away from Kingston

No, there will be more from Facebook and other places! We usually do not get a huge number but definitely more than 6 will come!

is this not a bit late? should we not protest sooner to try and stop the cull?

We have done lots of protests, and seriously the Royal Parks is the most stubborn organisation ever. I don't think the precise timing makes much difference as the protest is mainly about building more groundswell of public support for the campaign among the ppl of the Kingston and Richmond area, and we are doing this over a long period of time.
People have been campaigning for many years against the cull, it is not something that can be won by just one protest

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
