Europe Unites Against Harlan!

On Saturday 19th January there will be a series of candlelit vigils in major cities across the UK by – each in support of Italy and France international protests against Harlan and the Save the Harlan Beagles campaign.

Harlan breeds a number of animals for use in vivisection including marmoset, beagles, rabbits, mice, rats, hamsters and guinea pigs.

Join us in Trafalgar Square (opposite the National gallery) in London on Saturday 19th January from 4:00 pm til 6:00 pm to help raise awareness and remember the lives lost in the name of bad science.

Please bring a candle.

It was a good experience for a 1st timer, I shall research more before I join on a vigil so I have more knowledge before hand. It was nice to meet others there and to see familiar faces. The meal after was brilliant, so glad I went.

My number at home is[masked] or on the mobile once I am out it is 07931 156006.

So far we will be going ahead although the final decision the Harlan vigils will be made late morning tomorrow, because of the weather conditions.

I am the London contact now and I have the leaflets and a few petitions and posters, and spare candles, as Tino Verducci is in Udine, Italy where they have nice weather so there should be no question of their vigil going ahead just fine.

See you tomorrow I hope. Please bring a candle if you can and a jar for it. If anyone would like to print up any more posters to hold they are here, and petition forms here too
the one called "Standard Poster" is the best one for at the vigil.
