Lion Ark is coming back to Florida and will be screening at the Palm Beach Film Festival.
Lion Ark is more action adventure than traditional documentary and follows the enforcement of Bolivia’s ban on animal circuses. Circuses that defy the law are tracked down, animals saved and a joyous finale sees 25 lions airlifted to freedom.
This is a hugely important film for raising awareness about the treatment of animals in traveling circuses and it shows how laws can be secured and enforced. And for a change, the animals get to win and it has a happy ending!
We have had a wonderful response for volunteers at the Palm Beach Gardens screening and for passing out flyers, but we still need volunteers for the Boca Raton screening.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH:
• Taking our leaflets to local restaurants and other business near the festival venues- starting immediately, to promote the screening
• Handing out leaflets to festival visitors once the festival has begun
• Helping with the Lion Ark information table and screening the day of the screening
Volunteers on the festival team get a complementary ticket to see the film.
It’s fun and easy! You get to see Lion Ark for free! AND do something great for the animals!
