Nate Beck, developer extraordinaire, will demonstrate how you can take your existing web / Flash games and move them over to mobile to start selling your games on app stores. Nate will also touch on common pitfalls that you will experience in the process of moving to mobile devices.
Nate Beck, Principal Architect, ZaaLabs, Ltd. Based in Redmond, Washington… Nate has been playing around and working with Flash since 2001 and has worked for a variety of companies including Boeing and T-Mobile USA. When Nate isn't schmoozing corporate clients, he is developing games and is an active contributor to the PushButton Engine open source Flash game engine. His company, ZaaLabs, is building a tooling platform (named Eden) to increase productivity while developing games on the Flash Platform. Nate is an avid gamer, His Xbox Live gamer tag is Knaughty. So if you play Halo or Call of Duty, hit him up. Oh, and if you see that gamer tag playing Viva Pinata… that’s his wife (or so he says).
