Winter A2 Reskilling Festival, Free!

Wnter Ann Arbor Reskilling Festival, at the Rudolph Steiner High School, 2230 Pontiac Trail
February 10th 10:30am-5pm FREE! Childcare Co-op
Vendors-crafter and Childcare spots still available! Workshops are updated!
During lunch I'll have a meetup sign on my table.
We have lots of exciting classes offered this year, such as growing mushrooms, winter botany, fire making, wilderness first aid, dogbane cordage, breadmaking, writing haikus, rain gardens, meditation, pickle making, sock darning, native plant landscaping, hide tanning, foodsaving, water gathering and purification, singing in circle, soil block transplants, pressure cooking, and wildlife habitats. To see the full list please see our workshop page.
There is still space available in the childcare with our winter festival! If you are interested in being involved (whether you are a parent or not!) or want more information, please fill out this form to indicate your interest. Please remember that spaces will be limited, so if you do not pre-register your child(ren), there may not be space for them the day of the festival. Edith Estey is coordinating the childcare. Edith has been involved with several childcare cooperatives and has worked with children for over 18 years, including having 3 children of her own.

Vendors Wanted
This year we are extending an invitation to crafters/vendors who are interested in selling their wares at the festival. We'd like to open a room for you to sell your wares and give you the opportunity to get up close and personal with a few reskillers at a time to teach them about your craft. In exchange, we ask that you donate 10% of your profits to the festival to help us with future festival costs. As this is the Reskilling Festival, you must be willing to to include an educational component, even if it's just actively crafting during the festival to show others what you do and how you do it.

There are many ways to be involved with our festival:

Sell your wares at the Ann Arbor Reskilling Festival
Bring your child or volunteer to provide childcare
Volunteer on the day of the festival

We look forward to seeing you on February 10th!
