To Kill A Mockingbird - with intro commentary by Ann Glenn Cruse

Bow Tie Cinema at the Harbour Center begins its March weekly "Cine Classic" film series with this 1962 favorite. Starring Gregory Peck and based on Harper Lee's famous novel, the movie begins at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3.
On Saturday March 2, beginning at 10:30 a.m., I'll give a 25 minute talk before the film featuring information about its production and importance in American cinema.
Admission is $5.50 ($4.50 with a Bow Tie free Criterion Club card which can be obtained online at Bow Tie's web site or at the theater.)
Be sure to check Bow Tie Harbour 9's website for the list of their weekend Cine Classic films schedule for March and April.
I'll be doing presentations, beginning at 10:30 a.m., for each film at its Saturday screening.
Hope to see lots of fellow Annapolis Movie Club members there!

What I meant to say is that she was careful to avoid spoilers...

The commentary was very interesting, Ann is very knowledgeable and gives a great intro and followup to the Movie. She was careful to avoid and offered a followup after the movie. I had never seen the film before and this was a great way to see it. Movies in the theater are so much better than at home.
