Bow Tie Cinemas at the Harbour Center continues its weekly "Cine Classic" film series with the 1959 Doris Day-Rock Hudson comedy, Pillow Talk.
Pillow Talk was the first of the hugely successful Doris and Rock movies and their on screen chemistry was certainly a major contributor to the film's appeal. The movie overflows with late 1950s style and watching it today is a time capsule of "Mad Men" era clothing and decor.
And would you believe Pillow Talk won the Oscar in 1960 for Best Screenplay? Plus it received 4 other nominations including a Best Actress nomination for Doris Day.
