The Washtenaw County 2nd Saturday RPG Meetup

The purpose of the 2nd Saturday Meetup is to bring together experienced players with people new to, or rejoining the RPG world. The games are short one time adventures. No experience is necessary. I handle the adult games but do rely on members to run events and help us out when needed. Our biggest need is for DM's. I like to have 2 DM's so we can handle about 14 players. Any game system is OK to DM. There are a whole bunch of great systems other than D&D and we feel it is valuable for players to experience them. We want all players to have fun, meet other like minded people and make connections for opportunities to play outside the Meetup.

If you ever have questions Jim, Tracey or I are always willing to help.

Roll a 20,
Dennis

I had so much fun, laughing with you guys about fleshy flowers and gelatinous babies. Seriously, let's do it again soon.

GREAT group at our table, and a fun gruesome Cthulhu adventure. Thanks everyone!

A great place to meet new friends and roll criticals on old ones. The games are both accessible to new players and intriguing for veterans.

Everybody was polite but the pacing was slow and the events in the game seemed a bit random.

    A blast, as always!

I never thought pulling a weed could be so tough. Though it should be noted it was a Giant Purple Flower of the Ancient Ones.

Looks like Tracey and Bob will run adventures. If anyone else is interested let me know.

There will be 3.5/Pathfinder and some other non-D&D, perhaps Cthulhu.

Since these RPG's are one shot adventures, we try to have pre-gens or simple character construction. There are always players unfamiliar with the rules, so we like to have the experienced players assist the novice from time to time.

The Meetup is much more like a mini-Con than a campaign group. Roll a 20,
    Dennis

I will probabally show up but I have three jobs so I not absolutly positive. That being the case, I would get involved in a one shot. I hope that is ok.

I will can run something October 12th. However, we need 2 more GM's. I am not sure if the teen group is coming or not. Someone please let me know. It always works out. Don't forget that HalloCon VI is November 2nd. I am adding my garage into the space as the tavern food room. If anyone has some interesting props you would like to set up, let me know. If it looks like we are going to have a really big crowd, I will cover and partially enclose my back deck. It would be dark and creepy back there ...... hehehehe. There is space for two more tables on the deck.
