The Ann Arbor Area RPG & D&D Group

I am maxed out with Players at this time. I will leave the game posted one more month until I am sure the Players are consistent attendees. This is the start of a Cthulhu campaign. I am looking for players to join this once a month adventure to the Antarctic in 1930. The game starts on a research ship docked in Australia. This first session will be character creation and the details of the game.
Cthulhu is an easy RPG based on percentiles. I will use maps, props, miniatures, etc. This is a game that meets each month, so I am looking for players who will not casually miss sessions. Cthulhu is a horror game, so expect the story to be like an R rated movie.
We meet at the Upkeep Game store in Ann Arbor. You can bring food and drink. We will break to get food each session. If you have questions, contact me through the Meetup message system.

The location of the game is at R U Games in Saline.

We will now have several sessions running. The game system for now will be D&D 5e. We will use 5th level characters for D&D. We have pre-gen characters, maps, props, dice, everything needed for all games. You may make a Std 5th level character using online D&D Beyond. Please use 27 point buy, Std HP and no evil characters.

I am requesting that you have taken a CoVid vaccine to play. Plan on a break to eat. Feel free to bring your own food and drink. We will order regular pizza and gluten free if needed. The cost for the pizza will be $7 a person, if you want pizza. Please bring cash if possible. These details could change, so check this posting for details. Feel free to email me with questions. We design the game story for novices and experienced players. The idea is for all players to have fun.

The purpose of the 2nd Saturday Meetup is to bring together experienced players with people new to, or rejoining the RPG world. The games are short one time adventures. No experience is necessary.

Painting miniatures, terrain or buildings is a popular activity in the gaming world. These painted products are used in many roleplaying events like D&D to add realism to the games. This event is a gathering of players who want to take their dull grey miniatures and make them look realistic with a splash of color. The plan is to have beginners and advanced painters together to share idea, techniques and encouragement. The R U Game Store sells a wide array of materials, or you can bring your own figures and paints. Come anytime after '5:00 and stay until 7 or later. You can also bring food and drink. The idea is to have a good time with like minded people. Plus, if you are making a character or GMing a campaign, we can help you with any questions you have.
