Guatemala Volunteer Trip

I recently took a volunteer trip to Guatemala with an Ann Arbor based non-profit called the Appropriate Technology Collaborative. They're organizing another trip that starts in the beginning of May (less than a month from now!).

My project involved helping locals setup solar power for a village community center. It was a unique way to see Guatemala as well as practice Spanish. During the nights we stayed on the shores of Lake Atitlan in a great hostel/hotel where we met people from all over the world. It was truly a unique experience, and that's why I'm forwarding this info to the group.
