Please read ALL of the details below.
Saturday:
Climbing location Saturday: Boy Scout Rocks
Meeting location and time: We will be meeting at the Rock City parking lot at 8am. Sorry so early, but if we want the best climbs we have to get there before any other groups.
Camping Saturday night only. I will make reservations shortly. Please bring cash for campsite costs. Campsites are $30 per campsite divided amongst four of us so far.
I will bring my slackline for the campsite.
I will also be bringing my BBQ for a Group dinner. All other meals please be self sufficient.
Sunday:
Climbing location Sunday: Butt Rock (we will do some rappelling too).
Meeting location Sunday: Rock City parking lot at 9am. Butt Rock is just a short hike down the road so if you don't find us at Rock City parking then head over to Butt Rock and give us a holler.
I will bring a harness, belay device, helmet for both Allie and Alice. Will need to verify your shoe sizes to see if you need to rent climbing shoes.
Make sure to bring some water and food to eat for lunch
Bring warm clothes as it will probably be chilly at least in the mornings.
I have plenty of anchor and climbing gear to use, but if you have gear that you can bring as well please let me know.
Recommended gear list for for campers:
tent
insulated or foam sleeping pad
warm sleeping bag
folding chair
cook gear
food for dinner
food for lunch on Saturday and Sunday
food for breakfast on Sunday morning (make it simple so we can break down camp, eat and head to the climbs by 9am)
headlamp
Please RSVP to the waiting list and then send me an email through my profile with your contact info. Your confirmation will be my response to your email (Note: this is to filter out people who are not serious about attending, allows for faster coordinating and provides a means for me to contact you if something changes last minute).

Oh yeah, and once you are in the park there is NO CELL RECEPTION, I will be driving a dark gray VW Westfalia poptop camper van. I think Dottie will have her Subaru Outback. If you have trouble finding us ask the person at the kiosk where the climbing area is if you can't find it (note: there is Boy Scout Rocks, we will be at Lower Boy Scout on Sat, and Butt Rock where we will be climbing the Butt Crack on Sun).

FYI also. Don't forget your headlamps. And remember I uploaded a map file to show where we are meeting. Don't be late.

FYI campers. I didn't reserve a campsite online. I found out there is an $8 reservation fee tacked on to the already high $30 camping fee. We'll just have to get one first come first served. Last I checked ALL the campsites were still available tomorrow night so getting a site shouldn't be a problem at all.

Thanks for putting this together Stan. I was just concerned about the cars. I believe we cannot have more than two cars per campsite. Is that something we need to worry about? I also have camping equipment that I can share if needed.
