Location: any park with sturdy trees ~30ft apart. Tree diameter should be at least a foot with 2+ft being more ideal.
Suggested donation for gear use: $1 per person
If you want to learn how to setup your own slackline let me know and I help you to determine what gear you will need.
If you already have a slackline or think you have the right gear to set one up let me know too.
If we have enough gear we can setup multiple slacklines of varying lengths.
There are many ways of setting up your own slackline, but I use one of the simplest ways that doesn't require any knots in the line therefore it is stronger and will last longer.
Note: slacklines generate tremendous forces on the gear and the bouncing causes these forces to be cyclical in nature, therefore any gear used in a slackline should NEVER be used for climbing. In addition, slacklining causes wear and tear on the gear pretty fast so please feel free to make a nominal donation for those who allow us to use their gear.
