Do you think you're a lone rational thinker in a vast sea of religious automatons?
Have you considered how difficult it must be for atheists to live their lives with absolutely no divinely-inspired moral guidance?
Have you ever wondered how many babies each atheist consumes in a given year?
Are you a card-carrying member of the atheist movement?
If you answered "yes" to any of the questions above, the AofU monthly luncheon is the place for you this Sunday. Come down to Sizzler to socialize with a bunch of godless heathens who are like-minded and value evidence over faith. You know you want to.
We don't have any extravagant plans this month; just socializing and getting to know each other a little better.
This year, AofU is supporting the "Shalom/Salaam/Tikkun-Olam" project which provides food, clothing, and other necessities to refugee families in Utah. To show thanks for what we are all so fortunate to have, we are asking everyone to bring a donation of new warm clothing items (hats, scarves, gloves, etc...). All sizes are needed and appreciated. Cash donations are also accepted to go toward buying food for these families. Check out this video to learn more about the project:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejBeHXq7M1s
