Join us in opposition to South Coast Plaza's support of the fur industry!

Please join us in a show of opposition to South Coast Plaza's support and celebration of the fur industry. Please wear black, and dress well. Dress fashionably. We're appealing to people who care about these things.

The fur industry slaughters 50 million animals a year through such means as strangulation, anal electrocution, and shoving animals into gas chambers. The fur industry has significantly increased profits since the 1980's when animal activists made strides in public education and pressure. The fur industry hired marketing pros who fought back, and fur rebounded beyond their expectations.

If you need incentive to join us, please watch "Skin Trade".

We'll have signs.

Please account for heavy traffic in the parking lot..i.e., arrive early.

Please join us, for the animals! For the foxes, mink, raccoons, lynx, even domesticated dogs and cats who sit in cages, rocking back and forth from the stress and fear, not understanding what's happening to them, smelling the blood of other animals, and hearing their screams...please join us for them...even if you're tired, and don't want to deal with the traffic and crowds..be tough and come anyway...

I picked up a plastic reuseable water bottle. Please let me know if it's yours. :)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
