Movie (Lion Ark Laguna Hills) - Preceded by dinner at Veggie Grill in Irvine

Lion Ark, the movie that tells the story of the Bolivian lion rescue, has been officially selected for–Irvine International Film Festival – and will screen on Tuesday, January 14th, 2014 at 8:00pm at the Laguna Hills Cinema,  24155 Laguna Hills Mall Road, Laguna Hills, CA 92653.

If you missed the Lion Ark screenings in Los Angeles in November, here is your chance to see this powerful film in Orange County!  Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased in advance through PayPal by clicking in the Facebok event page, here!

Lion Ark has been made more action adventure style than traditional documentary. See the story of the undercover investigations, the lobbying, the law and enforcement of the ban on animal circuses in Bolivia. Circuses that defy the new law are tracked down, animals saved and a joyous finale sees 25 lions airlifted to freedom in Colorado.

This is a hugely important film for raising awareness about the suffering of animals in traveling circuses and it shows how laws can be enforced. And for a change, the animals win!

ADI's aim is to get Lion Ark seen by as many people as possible; they will enjoy the story, but will come out never wanting to go to the animal circus again.

Early reviews say: “Lion Ark is the feel-good movie of the year!” (Reel Talk);  “one of your must-see films of 2013” (The Independent Critic); "A consciousness-raising milestone of a documentary” (The Ecologist); “will restore some faith in humanity." (Shockya.com); "A deeply important film about bravely taking a stand against animal cruelty." (FatFreefilm)Read more Lion Ark reviews
