Vegan Outreach at Bella Terra Followed by Dinner

Help APRL spread the word about the benefits of a plant-based diet to patrons at Huntington Beach's Bella Terra Whole Foods.

Leafletters estimate that for every 200 vegan leaflets distributed, one person goes vegan.  That's 100 animals saved per year, or thousands over the course of a new vegan's life.  Let's see if we can create 10 new vegans and save 25,000 animals!

We'll educate passersby and hand out literature from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Then we'll hit a nearby vegan restaurant for dinner.

Don't miss this outreach event!

Parking at Bella Terra is free.

Compelling pamphlet; the only problem I have with it is its promotion of toxic, processed foods. Vegans and vegetarians are often criticized for being "unhealthy" or "overweight." A better alternative to processed vegetarian foods would be delicious whole foods, plant-based meals and the like. Plug the low cost comparison. Most think going vegetarian or vegan or organic costs more, but if you factor in lifetime health costs, it's not even a small fraction of the cost.
