This is a meetup group for creative entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs & business owners, who want to socialise & learn from each other.
This group will be similar to The Supper Club, Adam Street Club, Soho House. Same ethos, but much more about Creative Entrepreneurs, (Social Enterprises & Charities too).... with a high emphasis on fun too (we firmly believe that business does not have to be dull).
Where are we?
We have a Creative hub in Belgravia, London for Entrepreneurs to come and work. play & learn. There's a fun vintage feel, and a real emphasis on Collaboration.
Most of the meetup group events will happen here (25 Eccleston Place, Belgravia, SW1W 9NF).
By joining this group, you're extending your board of directors to include all of us too (kind of?!). The idea is that this is truly collaborative group where we all help each other out with everyday and also strategic business matters.
There's almost a masonic element to this in a way, but without the funny handshakes, or strange joining rituals (we might spank you).
Something to ponder...
1000's of times a day there's a Director sat somewhere scratching his head and pondering a certain conundrum... it's likely that about 1000 Directors already solved this exact problem the prior day! This group helps to address this issue.
So come and meet other experienced business owners that have been there, done that and bought the T-shirt. Bring your own skills and experiences to the table too of course and please be prepared to help others.
What we will do!
We will arrange Suppers, Breakfasts, Lunches & Drinks in decent places where you can come and meet each other in informal environments, and expand your networks and your knowledge. And have fun to boot. Like I said above, the main location is in Belgravia, but we may be expanding to other London venues soon, so watch this space!
Big plans. this is like, big hairy audacious goal territory...
The aim is to build the "Archie & Doris Entrepreneurs Club" to over 1000 members. To help hundred of companies to grow and prosper and carry on doing great things for the UK economy and themselves. With our increase in membership will come an increase in influence, and we'll canvass opinion form members and lobby government where necessary to help implement positive changes for SME owners all over the UK.
