AIA CES: 2 LUs | 2 HSW

When: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24

Where: At The Center

Kazuhiro Kojima and Kazuko Akamatsu, partners in CAt (Coelacanth and Associates)—a leading Tokyo design firm known for exemplary educational design—will be featured in this presentation of an original video produced by the Center for Architecture. It includes an overview of their recent educational design portfolio, which ranges from elementary schools to higher education facilities.

Kojima and Akamatsu were originally scheduled to speak at the Center for Architecture on October 29, 2012. Because of Superstorm Sandy, the event was rescheduled for October 31, 2012, and was held at the Manhattan offices of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. This event features an edited video recording of that presentation, followed by a panel discussion and a Q+A session.
