Please join us for a guided private tour of the beautifully restored UN Council Chambers.

The newly restored Council Chambers, situated in the Conference Building, were a gift from three Scandinavians countries and their interiors were designed by Scandinavian architects in the 1950s. The chambers opened for use in 1952.

The three Council Chambers consist of:

The Security Council Chamber designed by Arnstein Arneberg from NorwayThe Economic and Social Council Chamber designed by Sven Markelius from SwedenThe Trusteeship Council Chamber designed by Finn Juhl from Denmark
