To keep everyone safe this year, we will be having a New Year's Eve Party at my house. We will have a bonfire in the backyard. The hot tub will be fired up and we will have a pot luck buffet. Please bring a dish of hot food that will provide 6 servings, beer, wine, champagne or whatever your favorite beverage might be.
If you like fire, bring one or two bags of firewood so we can keep a big fire going all night.
The attire for the evening will be a pajamas and comfortable sleeping wear. You can dress up like Hugh Hefer in a robe, long johns, pajamas or if you are in a flirtatious mood you can wear sexy longerie. If you aren't that adventurous, just wear some regular party clothes.
If you want to sit in the hot tub bring a swim suit and a towell.
We encourage everyone to bring a sleeping bag and crash on the floor or one of my comfy couches. Last year Gilbert had one DUI task force. This year they plan to operate 17. Much safer to sleep over than try to drive home. If you do want to leave, we will be serving a big breakfast and coffee at midnight. Whatever you do please dont drink too much and drive.
The next day, we will wake up eat a big breakfast and get ready to watch the College Football Bowl Games. You are welcome to stay all day until the food and drink run out.
We will have the following activities to keep us busy:
Texas Holdem Poker
Pool Table
Dart Board
Arcade Games like asteroids, stargate, tempest, joust, millipede, missile command
PS3 Video Games for the Kids
Ping Pong Table
Backyard Bonfire
6-Person Hot Tub
College Bowl Games
Movies
NO drinking and driving will be allowed. We will take everyone's keys at the door and give them back in the morning or when a panel of three people deems your ability to make it home safely. The Gilbert Police department will have 17 Dui task forces patroling the streets. Please don't become a statistic.
