Arizona Camping Club Announces New Group Equipment Camping Trailer Rental

Includes tents, sleeping bags, air mattresses, lanterns, flashlights, kitchen/cooking utensils, coffee makers, ice chest, tables, chairs, and bathroom equipment for as low as $36 per-day per-person

Phoenix, Ariz. (July 22, 2010) - The Arizona Camping Club ( announced today that is offering to rent its group equipment camping trailer for weekend or weeklong trips for groups of up to 24-people. The trailer is perfect for large groups that want to rent equipment instead of investing thousands of dollars in expensive camping gear. The group camping trailer is the perfect camping solution for schools, churches, boy scouts, girl scouts, social clubs and associations that want a quick and easy way to pick up a trailer designed for group camping outings.

The group camping trailer contains 6 individual camping pods, which includes the follow gear:

Camping Equipment:
• An easy to setup 6x10 popup tent that sleeps four grown adults
• Tent rain fly to keep camping gear dry
• Ground tarp to keep moisture from seeping into tent
• Two 4’x6’x12” queen-size blow air mattresses
• Four sleeping bags, which can be used individually or zipped together in pairs
• Mr. Heater with oxygen sensors to keep campers warm and safe on cold nights (propane not included)
• LED Tent Ceiling Light
• LED Lantern
• LED Flashlight
• 4–person foldout picnic table
• 4 camping chairs with folding end-table

The group camping trailer contains a one group kitchen and two bathroom setups, which includes the following group camping gear:

Kitchen Equipment:
• Tri-level professional kitchen setup with sink and food/utensil storage compartments
• 6 – cooking pots, pans and utensils
• 6 – propane camp stove (propane not included)
• 6 – coffee makers
• 1 – jet boil for quick meals
• Professional campfire combo grill and adjustable rotisserie
• 50-gallon water jug (water not included)
• Shovel
• First Aid Kit
• One 150-quart group ice chest
• One group air blower to inflate air mattresses

Bathroom Equipment:
• Two combo shower/bathroom tents
• Two portable squatty potties with zip lock waste bags
• Two 2-gallon solar-heated hot water shower camelbacks
• Two sets of zip lock waste bags and absorbent wood chips
• Two sets of biodegrable toilet paper

All the equipment is stored in a 6x12 utility trailer weighing 3,000 lbs, requiring a 2” hitch and a 6-way round electrical plug for trailer lights. Trailer includes one spare tire, jack and emergency roadside flares and triangle reflectors.

Group Camping Equipment Rentals:
The rental fee is $3,015 per 3-day weekend, which breaks down to $42 per-day per-person. The trailer can be picked up on Thursday night before 8:00 p.m. and returned on Sunday afternoons before 8:00 p.m. Trailers can be rented for 7-days for a rental fee of $5,500, which breaks down to $18 per-day per-person, with a Thursday night pickup and Wednesday night drop-off.

Group organizers need to take a 2-hour orientation class to learn how to setup and operate all camping equipment in a safe and efficient manner. We will also go through an equipment checklist to make sure that all equipment is present and in good working condition to make sure that groups have the perfect camping experience. We will also cover U.S. Forest regulations such as how to check on fire restrictions and make sure campfires are cold and wet before leaving a campsite.

Group Camping Insurance:
Rental trailer requires an insurance policy to protect against accidental losses to trailer and equipment damage.

Recommended Group Camping Spots/Consulting Services:
In addition to equipment rentals, the Arizona Camping Club provides Arizona Camping Consulting Services and a portfolio of recommended group camping trips complete with driving instructions, printed topographic maps and the exact GPS coordinates to make sure no one gets lost. A GPS can be rented for $50 per weekend and a Satellite Personal Outdoor Tracker can be rented for $100 per weekend, which will notify family, friends and local authorities on your exact location via Google Earth.
