Dave, Thanks for the welcome. Tell your buddy that all he has to do to use a crossbow during normal archery season is to have his doctor sign a AZGFD document stating that he has part or more of his arm missing and AZGFD will issue him a crossbow permit. It was real easy and really fast. My friend is just getting into bow hunting and it is great when we both get out there together, so I think you and you're friend will habve a blast out there.
