Paved roads are great fun, but there's a whole lot of the USA that you'll never see if you stay on them. This group is about adventure motorcycling, that is, exploring the world on two (or three) wheels without the bounds or limits imposed by paved roads. All rides will involve some element of dirt roads, some more challenging than others. Members will most likely own an 'adventure' motorcycle (BMW GS, KTM Adventure, Triumph Tiger or Scrambler, Suzuki V-Strom, Ducati Multistrada, Aprilia Caponord, Ural, etc.), or perhaps a dual-sport bike (KLR, XL, etc.). REQUIREMENT: Your motorcycle must be at least 650cc, this is because all rides involve some highway in/out of town and smaller bikes struggle to keep up at highway speeds. This is a big bike adventure riding group, not a dirt bike group. Our events consist of some local day rides and many multi-day adventures both in AZ and neighboring states with camping in remote areas. In both cases we ride to the events, not trailer our bikes.

If you are interested in joining this group, please click on the 'Pages' tab page for more detail and group specific requirements/expectations and read the 'Requirements, etc.' page in it's entirety, it's a requirement for joining.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
