If you're looking to meet new people and socialize in the Arlington area, you've found the right group.  Arlington 30/40 is quickly becoming known as one of the very BEST social meetup groups in all of DC.  We welcome fun, friendly, respectful people of all ages, and we do our best to keep the creepy people away.  No BS with us - no agenda - our leadership group and our members are all about having fun, trying new things, making friends, and enjoying as much of the arts, culture, fine dining, nightlife, fitness, you name it, that this wonderful city and surrounding area have to offer.  

Geographically, we target the Arlington "Orange Line" neighborhoods from Rosslyn to Falls Church, including Courthouse, Clarendon, and Ballston.  However, we also hold events in southern Arlington, Alexandria, the District, and other parts unknown (Vegas anyone?).  

Our events are diverse and are limited purely by the imagination and interests of our members.  If you have an idea for an event, please e-mail one of the organizers, or create an "Idea" using the drop-down menu on this web site.  We hold a monthly social on the SECOND THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH, so put that date on your calendar and plan on joining us.  For a full list of our upcoming events, go under "Meetups/Calendar" to see if something catches your interest.  

Dog owners/lovers:  This group has a sizable core of dog-friendly members - if you don't see any doggie-related events coming up, please contact one of the organizers directly for more information.  

The Fine Print:  This meetup is a fun, social meetup. It is not a "hook-up" meetup.  We want all members to feel comfortable, safe, and respected.  Please know up front that any aggressive pursuing of other meetup members will not be tolerated.  We have no problem whatsoever banning those that exhibit "creepy" and "aggressive" behavior.
