February Movie Night & Mixer :: [Design & Thinking]

For February, we're planning to show a design documentary that presents how thinking like a designer can solve a multitude of problems, not just design challenges.

To follow the same format as our January Meetup, we will also have some interactive design activities for everyone to participate in.

We're planning a dinner option catered by "a Taste of the Philippines": chicken adobo and rice, vegetarian pancit noodle dish, beef or vegetarian egg rolls, and fried banana for desert. We will also have an assortment of beers and wine from local RiNo makers.

$5 fee for movie and movie-type snacks $15 fee for dinner and a movie

Hey Katherine. Glad to see your response. You'll be able to mingle with some of your peeps! The food truck will have a bunch of food options, so you'll be able to pick and choose what you like.

As part of our February Movie Night, we are going to be including a sampling of our [live slow]workshops for everyone to try: origami, Western calligraphy, and lumpia (Filipino egg roll) rolling.

Come hang out at the Labs on Saturday and meet other creatives...

Space is limited and we're starting to fill up...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
