I thought you'd like to know and hopefully attend this weekend's author visit by Patrick McDonnell on Sat., Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. He's the author of the comic strip Mutts & will do a drawing demo and sign copies of his new book, South. He is an active animal rights activist, and I hope you will enjoy this great event!
